Danielle Lara, Advisory Board Member

Danielle C. Lara, MSW is a Leadership Coach and Team Development Consultant helping individuals and organizations recognize and leverage their strengths, in order to be better leaders and build more cohesive, dynamic and collaborative work cultures. She also works with leadership teams and work groups to develop customized strategies in communication, collaboration and feedback to better align with their business goals and objectives.

Having a previous career in biotechnology management, Danielle designed and implemented quality assurance measures to improve efficiency for a fast-growing biotech company, while cultivating a positive workplace environment alongside her team. Here, she learned organically how to build a dynamic work culture and foster employee engagement, to increase productivity by 300% each year.

She continued to refine her skills in leadership and team development while serving as president for an on-campus student group at the University of Southern California (USC), where she recruited executive board leadership and promoted events and activities to increase student membership by 20%. Additionally, she has served as a consultant for various nonprofits, including the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and University of Southern California, in order to improve operations, fundraising and marketing.

Through a holistic lens and a growth mindset, she aims to blend social work values with her previous experience in leadership and management, to help her clients grow in their leadership skills and build innovative and sustainable workplaces for the future.

Danielle has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California, and enjoys watching baseball, reading and being in nature.
